Group River Cruise Planning On Europe's Most Iconic Waterways

Europe from the Inside Out

From the Rhine and Danube to the Seine, Douro, and Nile, we plan river cruises for groups of all sizes, from intimate couples trips to 40-person milestone celebrations. River cruise experiences typically start from $4,500 per person.

Discover the Magic of River Cruising

Imagine unpacking once and waking up to a new city every morning. That’s the beauty of river cruising. No crowded ports. No rushed transfers. Just smooth sailing through storybook landscapes, stepping ashore to explore legendary cities and villages on the Rhine, Danube, Seine, Douro, and beyond. Each day brings a new experience: sip wine at centuries-old vineyards, wander through festive Christmas markets, step inside UNESCO World Heritage sites, and dine on locally inspired cuisine prepared onboard. We plan every detail so you can savor every moment.

Rivers We Plan

Rhine River

One of Europe's most storied river cruise route.

Amsterdam to Basel

The Rhine river passes through the Rhine Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage stretch where castle ruins sit on nearly every clifftop and vineyards drop so steeply to the water they seem to defy gravity. Ports include Amsterdam, Cologne, Koblenz, Rudesheim, Strasbourg, and Basel. Best for: First-time river cruisers, groups who want Germany and France in a single journey, and anyone drawn to a mix of history, wine, and medieval towns. Sailing season: April through December, including Christmas market departures.

Danube River

The imperial river.

Budapest to Regensburg or Passau

The Danube river connects Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, and Germany through cities of extraordinary architectural grandeur: Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava, Linz, and Passau. The Wachau Valley, lined with terraced vineyards and apricot orchards, is one of the most scenic stretches of river in Europe. Best for: Groups who want iconic European capitals and a wider cultural sweep, and travelers for whom Budapest and Vienna are bucket-list cities. Sailing season: March through December.

Seine River

Paris at its most dressed-up

Paris and Normandy

A Seine river cruise combines the lights of the city with the history of Normandy, including Giverny, Rouen, and the D-Day beaches. It is a distinctly French experience that feels nothing like the German river routes. Best for: Groups drawn to French food, wine, art, and history. Both first-time and returning Paris visitors. Sailing season: March through November.

Douro River

Portugal's Douro Valley is the world's oldest legally demarcated wine region.

Porto and the wine country of Portugal

The terraces that climb from the riverbanks were carved by hand over centuries. Porto is one of the most compelling cities in Europe. Douro ships are smaller than European Longships, making this an especially intimate journey. Best for: Wine-focused groups and travelers looking for something off the Rhine-and-Danube path. Sailing season: March through November.

Nile River

A Nile river cruise is in a category of historical significance that no European river can match.

Egypt

Karnak Temple. The Valley of the Kings. Abu Simbel. Philae. For a group that has done Europe and wants something that will genuinely reorient their sense of what travel can be, or who have always dreamed of exploring Egypt, this is the itinerary. Best for: Groups seeking a profoundly different experience from European river cruising. Sailing season: October through April, Egypt's cooler months.

River Cruises for Groups

Group river cruise planning is different from individual booking, and it requires a different level of expertise. Here is what we manage on your behalf:

  • Group cabin block. We secure the number of cabins your group needs, ideally before individual booking opens to the public.
  • Group pricing and amenities. Formal group contracts with our cruise line partners unlock locked-in pricing, amenity benefits, and tour conductor credits unavailable to individual bookers. We structure every contract to maximize what your group is entitled to.
  • Individual guest coordination. Each guest in your group receives their own booking confirmation, payment schedule, and travel documentation. We handle all questions directly with each guest, so the person who organized the trip does not spend the journey managing logistics for 20 of their closest friends.
  • Pre- and post-cruise extensions. Many groups add a few days in Amsterdam, Vienna, Prague, or Paris before or after the sailing. We coordinate hotels, transfers, and city tours as a seamless extension of the river cruise.

Our planning services are completely complimentary. You pay the same rate you would booking directly. The cruise line pays us.

What Sets Us Apart

Tailored itineraries

We are not using templates. We match your group with the right river, ship, and sailing based on what inspires you, not what is easiest to sell.

Deep cruise line expertise

We know every major river cruise line’s ships, cabins, and itineraries inside and out, so we match your group perfectly the first time.

Beyond the river

We design seamless pre and post-cruise stays in Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Paris, and more, complete with transfers, tours, and curated hotel options.

Flawless group coordination

From room block contracts to individual guest communication, we handle every detail of your group’s travel and logistics.

The Yellow Umbrella Advantage

River cruising allows you to experience the world the way it was meant to be seen: immersed in daily life, not watching from afar. When you travel with us, you don’t just see the world. You feel it. Every cobblestone street, every glass of wine, every story told by a local guide becomes part of your own journey.
